Jeffrey Powers is co-founder of Occipital, a TechStars-backed and revenue-funded company based in Boulder. Occipital builds wide-appeal consumer applications that use computer vision technology at their core. In 2009, Occipital launched RedLaser, a mobile barcode-scanning application which became extremely popular. In June 2010, Jeff and co-founder Vikas Reddy negotiated the sale of RedLaser to eBay while keeping Occipital independent. Shortly after, Occipital launched 360 Panorama, now the top-ranked panorama application on the App Store. Jeff wrote a chapter on Occipital in the book Do More Faster by David Cohen and Brad Feld. Jeff and Vikas were featured in Inc Magazine's 30 Under 30 list in 2010.
