Author Bio

Author Dom Smith

Dom Smith is a multi-skilled journalist and editor. At 24, in 2011 he’s founder of York, UK-based music magazine Soundsphere and co-founder of Disabled Entrepreneurs, a network for start-up business people with disabilities. Soundsphere magazine is his main passion point and something that he is constantly driven to improve. It started off as a website about the alternative music scene (covering metal, electronic and indie music specifically) in the north of England in 2008, then he was awarded £1,000 funding from York St John University to take it into print two years later. The publication’s remit examines not only music, but fashion and the arts within key areas including Hull, Leeds, York, Sheffield and Manchester.
