Stephanie Kaplan is a co-founder, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of Her Campus Media LLC (HerCampus.com), an online magazine for college women and marketing platform for companies looking to reach the college market. Her Campus launched in September 2009 after winning Harvard’s business plan competition. Since then, Stephanie has grown Her Campus to a team of 1700+ college students with branches at 125+ colleges nationwide and formed content partnerships with Seventeen magazine, SELF magazine, and The Huffington Post. Her Campus has been featured in The New York Times, Yahoo Finance, ABC News Now, Fox Business, AOL WalletPop, CNN Money, CBS MoneyWatch, Business Insider, The Boston Globe, and U.S. News & World Report, among others. Stephanie and her co-founders have been named to Inc. magazine's 30 Under 30 Coolest Young Entrepreneurs, Glamour magazine's 20 Amazing Young Women, and The Boston Globe's 25 Most Stylish Bostonians. Stephanie is a 2010 graduate of Harvard University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Economics. Stephanie spent Summer 2009 as an American Society Of Magazine Editors (ASME) intern at SELF magazine at Condé Nast Publications, and Summer 2008 as a Features Intern at Seventeen magazine at the Hearst Corporation. Stephanie is also a member of Delta Gamma, and she recently completed her first half-marathon. Some of her favorite things include working out, watching Grey’s Anatomy, trying new nail polish colors, bargain shopping, and visiting her best friend in NYC. Stephanie has been admitted to the Harvard Business School Class of 2014 via the 2+2 Program.
