Author Windsor Hanger

Windsor Genevieve Hanger is a co-founder, President & Publisher of Her Campus Media LLC (HerCampus.com), an online magazine for college women and marketing platform for companies looking to reach the college market. Her Campus launched in September 2009 after winning Harvard’s business plan competition. At Her Campus, Windsor leads all client acquisition, business development, strategic marketing partnerships and sales, and has been responsible for bringing on clients including Juicy Couture, New Balance, Lauren Merkin, and Rent the Runway. Since its launch, Her Campus has been featured on ABC News Now and in AOL Money College, CNN Money, Business Insider, The Boston Globe, and U.S. News & World Report, among others. In July 2010, Windsor and her co-founders were named to Inc. magazine's 30 Under 30 Coolest Young Entrepreneurs. Windsor is a 2010 graduate of Harvard University where she majored in the History of Science with a citation in French. A born & bred southern belle, Windsor is a native of Asheville, NC. At Harvard, Windsor was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Before founding Her Campus, Windsor interned in the Marketing department at Bloomingdale’s, as well as in the Beauty and Advertising departments at OK! magazine. Windsor enjoys getting dolled up, dancing, reading chicklit, meeting new people, practicing yoga, working out, and cooking with her boyfriend Alex. Her passions also include chocolate ice cream, hanging out on her mom's farm with her three younger sisters, sushi, digital media and Her Campus.
